Small beauty haul.

Hello, from the other side... (I love Adele) Thought I would share some of my newest buys and what I thought of them. I got myself a bottle of TRESemmè heat defence spray 60ml it was  £1 from pound world, I am not sure how much this is in other shops as I've not used this one before but I thought it was a very good buy at only £1, this spray smells amazing, I've not tried it out on my hair yet but I hope it's as good as the last bottle of TRESemmè heat defense spray I had (it's the one that's in a red bottle) I don't use straightners that often as half the time my hair is tied up, so bottles of heat spray lasts me ages. Then I got myself 3 bottles of nail polishes, I have 2 bottles are by maybelline, color show 60 seconds, one colour is pink slip 327 it is a lovely metalic rose pink colour and the other is rose chic 232 which is a sparkly pale rose gold colour. So pretty. I've done my nails and it goes on so nicely and 2 coats painted on each ha

World book day!

Hello, hope you are all having a lovely weekend!  it's that time of year again for preparing for world book day, I'm not sure if it's just a uk thing or worldwide, does anyone else know? Well, we've been through so many characters, it's so difficult trying to find a character that we can do the costume for and also one who someone else might not think of (so many disney princesses and Harry potter characters last year) we thought Alice (in wonderland) is too popular, so are most of the other characters from that book, Harry potter characters are always done by loads of kids, they have already done fairies from the Rainbow magic book series, so has Dorothy (wizard of Oz) and they've already done the mad hatter, little red riding hood, Goldilocks,  winnie the witch and a couple of others over the past few years. We thought about doing Sophie from the B.F.G by Roald Dahl but both of my girls didn't like that idea, I thought of Veruca Salt from Charlie and t

The Peanuts movie.

Hello, hope you have/are having a good Saturday. This morning my two Beautiful Daughters and I went to the Cinema (kids club) to watch The Peanuts Movie, I almost thought we'd be too late, we didn't crawl out of bed until 8.30am and it starts at 10am, my Daughters take a a loooong time to wake up and get fed, washed and dressed. (they aren't morning people, no idea where they get that from ha ha) Well we made it in the nick of time, phew! I was soooo excited to see this movie, it's like a blast from my past. My thoughts on this movie are a little mixed, I thought it was a good  Family movie, and I enjoyed it as did my Daughters (one loved it, the other just liked it a little) but I don't personally think it was cinema trip worthy and so glad I only paid £2.50 each for the tickets. I don't think it helped that the cinema was busy and people were chatting, lots of packets being rustled and such like, (its to be expected at cinema club)  todd

Bake, cake, Baby...

Cakes made by yours truly. My titles are getting worse I am sure, I just type in whatever pops into my head 1st, (hmm) I love cake, I love to bake cakes, I love to get creative and decorate said cakes and I really love to make my cake receiver HAPPY! I am not a pro as you will clearly see but they are however made with pure love, sometimes a few tears. (not literally mind you)  I made this cake for my Daughter's 7th Bithday, she had/has Frozen Fever!! She was so happy and kept telling me I was the best mummy ever!! This makes Mummy very happy! Nothing better that seeing something you have made brighten somebody's day. That is just a few of many cakes I have made, also the only few photos of said cakes that I have on this laptop (ha-ha)  I really enjoyed baking and decorating those cakes and can't wait to get baking again for my Daughter's 10th Birthday next month! I'm sure she'll either want a pug cake or Zoella. (she'

All that Glitters and Sparkles away.

Mummy bought Mod Podge and glitter! I keep seeing these gorgeous, beautiful, sparkly glittery glasses lately and thought, I want to try that, so I did. Well it wasn't as easy as I thought, I had the idea in my head how I wanted it but silly me, I only went and put the masking tape on wrong so the pattern wasn't how I wanted it, learned from that mistake! oops. It's ok, it was only a practice glass, but I was so desperate for it to look awesome! It's so messy to do but it was lots of fun (house has never been so sparkly, glitter finds itself EVERYWHERE!) even if I am a doughnut for getting the tape on it wrong. OOPS! I really want to make a Wonder Woman glass, lots of practice before I even attempt at that! (ha-ha) This was so easy to do apart from the tape issue, I have lots of new glitters to try out so I shall get my sparkle on, I can not wait! watch this glittery space! Ta ta for now Thanks for reading J x

Fe Fi Fo Fimo.

Fimo Fun!! I really need to get better at giving my posts better titles, I apologise if they aren't very good. When I was a little girl (many moons ago) my Daddy dearest once bought some Fimo and we would make beads and magnets etc, well.... I had a little shopping trip a couple of weeks ago and bought some FIMO!! I was so excited and when my little parcel arrived I was like a kid at Christmas! (Yep I was jumping around, clapping, squealing the lot. oh dear) I have so many plans of what to make next but haven't found much time lately, I did make a few little bits with my Daughters as we want to do decoden on some little wooden trinket boxes they have painted. (I shall do a little post about that) So far we have made some teeny tiny itsy bitsy chocolate bars, lolly pops and flumps, some of the things that my little girl had made has left me rather baffled,  I have no idea what they are meant to be. I just love how creative she was being! I have so f

Nail art.

Nail art, I love, love pretty nails. Oh how I love a pretty manicure, sadly my budget doesn't stretch to a pro to do it so I do it myself. Sometimes its a hit but often its an epic fail, but practice makes perfect as they say, right? so here is a some that I took photos of. Most of the fails I just removed and tried, tried and tried again (yep many big fails) I get inspired by nails I see on instagram and YouTube but many of those were just huge fails for me, next time I shall show you exactly how much of a fail by posting a photo or two. Christmas Gingerbread Men Nails. I loved these cute little Gingerbread Men, I bought them off ebay they are water transfer nail decals. so cute! My nails are painted with a red gel polish by Sensationail which was a gift and cured in a UV lamp with a glitter top coat. The gold nails are a gel polish by Bluesky and I bought it off ebay (ebay is amazing) and added the gingerbread men and glitter topcoat which is also by Bluesky and

Food glorious food.

Food glorious food, the healthier kind. I am a plus size Woman and so I have started to change my lifestyle a little, I did go to slimming world, (diet group) sadly the people I went with all slowly stopped going and instead of being brave and carrying on with it (on my lonesome), I stopped going too. I have been carrying on with the meal plans (most of the time) that I had been doing and I am going to share some of my favourites with you. I hope you enjoy, it's food, most of us LOVE food and trying new things, I know I do, om nom. BBQ PULLED PORK! This is lovely with a crisp salad, home made potato wedges and corn on the cob.For my Potato wedges I just spray the wedges with fry light (I use the olive oil one) and fry in my Breville Halo health fryer, love, love my Halo. We use the left over pork to eat in a crunchy bread roll with a crisp salad, or on a jacket potato with salad. I shall put a link under this photo for the recipe.  slimming worlds pulled p
