The Peanuts movie.

Hello, hope you have/are having a good Saturday.

This morning my two Beautiful Daughters and I went to the Cinema (kids club) to watch The Peanuts Movie, I almost thought we'd be too late, we didn't crawl out of bed until 8.30am and it starts at 10am, my Daughters take a a loooong time to wake up and get fed, washed and dressed. (they aren't morning people, no idea where they get that from ha ha)
Well we made it in the nick of time, phew!

I was soooo excited to see this movie, it's like a blast from my past.

My thoughts on this movie are a little mixed, I thought it was a good  Family movie, and I enjoyed it as did my Daughters (one loved it, the other just liked it a little) but I don't personally think it was cinema trip worthy and so glad I only paid £2.50 each for the tickets.
I don't think it helped that the cinema was busy and people were chatting, lots of packets being rustled and such like, (its to be expected at cinema club)  toddlers were crying (I think it was their 1st trip to the movies, bless them, I remember my youngest being upset and scared at first, she was sensitive to loud noises, wouldn't think that now)  and there were kids having fights with their siblings (old enough to know better) I was such a proud Mum as My girls were amazingly behaved! (smug Mum he he, it'll be my kids next time as I have jinxed it with my smugness, oops)

The story line is that of course EVERYTHING goes wrong for Charlie Brown, then a new girl starts in his class and he is smitten, then it's all about that and the ongoings of his infatuations for the girl.(don't want to say much, I'm no good at talking about films without adding spoilers) It did bring a little laugh or two from me and my girls, and it was good film but doubt it'll be a film we would watch again.

I think this movie is just more of a snuggle up on the sofa with my Munchkins (kids) cuppa in one hand and some biscuits next to us kinda film. It's for the kids though and I am 30 so what do I know (ha), although we absolutely loved, loved, loved the good Dinosaur (I am a sucker for Disney, Pixar and dreamworks) which we watched 2weeks ago! If you haven't seen it, give it a watch. AMAZING!!

Oh and wtf £2.65 for a bottle of pepsi max at the cinema, shocking! cost me just as much on 3 drinks than it did to get into the cinema for the 3 of us.

I shall do a post about the rest of my "girly day out" tomorrow, it's very late now and I have to get up early for church in the morning. (oops, another late night, did that last night too)

Have you seen it and if so what are your thoughts? perhaps I am just expecting too much from this movie!

Ta ta for now

Thanks for reading

Giving birth to a huge baby. Day 4 of  Blogtober I thought in today's post I would write about the birth of my youngest child (now 10 years old) Isabella, she was a hefty weight, not at all your average baby weight, although I have heard of much bigger babies being born (my eyes sting at that thought) so here is my story of how my beautiful little girl entered the world. Before I begin, I would like to say that I kept telling midwives I was carrying an elephant inside me, they would say she is only going to be about 1 lb bigger than my older two children's birth weights (8lb 6oz & 8lb 7oz) I had SPD (where the ligaments over stretch in the pelvis, causing a lot of pain) I was depressed as I could hardly do anything, the pain was immense, I used to cry whenever I needed to get up out of my bed to go to the loo, (which was often, babies like using our bladder as a trampoline) I would literally crawl to the bathroom, the midwives just said they couldn't ...

Harvest festival. Today I was inspired to write this post, as tomorrow Isabella's (Daughter) school is having a harvest festival assembly, so I was inspired to talk to you about food banks. Food banks are so essential for so many people, more than you could imagine have to use them, people who you would assume would have a good wage coming in from their jobs like Nurses for instance, so many Nurses are struggling to make ends meet, it is so heartbreaking that such kind, caring and selfless people like Nurses are struggling as much as they do, also hard working families who are working so much to the point of exhaustion, yet sadly struggle to get by once bills are paid, parents going hungry to make sure their children get a meal, its a desperate time for a lot of people, and not just around harvest festival and Christmas time, this is every day of every week. This is where you, me and anyone else out there can help, there are so many food bank collections out ther...

When I was little.. Blogtober day seven, today I thought I would talk about what I wanted to do when I grew up, things change so much from our childhood plans for the future, my brother who I am very close to always wanted to be a fireman, I used to have awful nightmares for years when I was little of my brother being stuck in a house fire and me screaming because he was stuck and I couldn't help him, and he died, this happened so much and I always begged him not to be a fireman because of my repetitive dream and it must have meant something bad would happen to him if he were to become a fireman, luckily for me he changed his mind, although that is not all down to me, he just heard too many stories from his best friend's Dad (who was a fireman) and changed his mind, I was so relieved. I always wanted to be a nanny when I was little, for as long as I can remember it's been something I have wanted to be when I grew up (that and being a Mummy) I've always love...
