10 things I can't live without.

Hello there, here is my list of 10 things I can't possibly live without. In no particular order. 1: Pepsi max. I know it's not good for you to drink fizzy drinks but I can't live without it. I try to drink more water too though so not just Pepsi max. 2: Morning coffee, I can live off just 1 cup a day but I can't live without my morning coffee. 3: My phone, I do everything on my phone, watch Netflix, my tv soaps and YouTube, social media, email and even blog with my phone. I am completely lost without it. 4: My ghost deep night perfume, I can wear other perfumes (I have other favourites too) but I have to have a bottle of this, it's my everyday perfume, it's comforting to me as it reminds me of so many amazing times in my life. I have been using it for about 15years. 5: Family time: playing board games, to picnics in the park or family meals out. I can not live without this. Life gets so busy and we all need that special time with our Children. 6

My highstreet beauty haul.

Hello there, thought I would share my most recent highstreet/drugstore beauty haul with you, and my thoughts on each item. First of all I have the I ❤ make up Golden bar eyeshadow pallete.  Link to golden bar. I fell in love with the packaging on this, not ashamed to say that's what got me to buy it. I am not a huge fan of the colours in the pallete although I do use a few of the colours as you can tell from the photo, but I am trying out new looks so may end up loving some of the ones I don't really like right now.  This pallete is all shimmers, So it's not a pallete you can use as a main pallete, I have other older palletes with mattes in them I use with this. The pigment is really good for such a budget price of £8.99 and I've seen reviews of these palletes on YouTube comparing them to the Too Faced chocolate palletes and they did amazingly next to them, so I feel I have really got a bargain. I can't afford to spend £40+ on eyeshadows when I have

Our day at Kidzania.

Hello there, we recently had a day out at Kidzania and thought I would write a little bit about our day and how it was. Kidzania is an indoor fun reality learning experience for Children aged 4-14, a place where they can be the adults and be in charge and parents take a backseat for 4 hours. It's situated in Westfield shopping centre in west London although lots of them scattered across the world. They have over 60 activities to explore, a mixture of different professions to test their skills out on. From working in a supermarket to working in a vault, from being a cleaner to working at a radio station, for the news or for a newspaper, being a paramedic, fire fighter or a police officer, to working as a vet to being a midwife looking after babies.  There is so much for them to do. We live in Oxfordshire, it took us 2hours to get to Westfield shopping centre, we booked the car park the night before and got 20% off the ticket, we got the Kidzania tickets from a site called attra

Mummy needs a time out.

Hello, hope your summer is going well, even with all the rain. What a wet wet summer we've had this year! Well, us parents have had it rough I am sure I can't be the only one who has moaning, whining and bickering Children through the summer holidays, please tell me I am not the only one who has more grey hairs and thinning hair from the stress of bored Children? It's all good when it's sunshine days but as soon as that rain comes it's back to fighting kids and the moaning and whining starts, (cos of course we can turn on the sunshine and stop the rain, huh?) When it's dry they're out playing or we go to parks. We've had a couple of days out but it's not cheap taking three Children to theme parks so we limit what we do to one day out a week and some of those days out are more expensive, then the rest is as cheap as possible. What about us as parents, we need an escape from the whirl wind that is the summer holidays, (before we lose what marbles

Godiva music festival.

Hello, hope your Monday is going well, the sun has his hat on here in Oxfordshire. Hope it lasts. We found out about a FREE music festival a few months back, so we thought we would give it ago. It was on the 7th, 8th and 9th of July in Coventry (UK) at their War memorial park. Parking was also free. It took us about 1hr to get there and about 20mins to drive through the park and park up. We went on the Friday and the Saturday, on the Friday the Stranglers were playing, blast from my Childhood as My late Dad was into them and to see them play live wad just amazing, so full of  emotions as made me think so much of my Dad and how much I miss him but they were brilliant, we all really enjoyed yourselves. There were different tents like a comedy tent, silent disco. There was a tent with local bands playing and then there was the main stage, I can only think of the Stranglers, The Amazon's and Example played on the main stage, on the Sunday the Darkness played and many many more

An amazing place called Stanwick lakes.

Hello, thought I'd write a quick post about a beautiful park we found out about a few weeks ago. It's only an hour away from us, wish we knew about it years ago. Stanwick lakes in Northamptonshire, it's stunning and so much to do with the kiddies, there is the playground which has a rustic wooden design, with sand to play in and water to play with, the views are stunning lakes and bunnies hopping around, then there is an adventure trail and a assault course too as well as an inside area if it rains or to keep out of the sun. There is a cafe as well as a refreshment hut. There is a discovery centre (we didn't look in there) and also a place to hire bikes so you can have a cycle as a family around the lakes. It was so beautiful having a little walk in the sunshine and we will be going back to explore and play more again soon. Here are some photos I took and a link to their website, if you don't live too far away (1hr or so)  I promise it'll be worth the trip.

Glitter bows.

Hello, it's been awhile, but I am back with a new hobby.... Glitter bows 😍 My youngest Daughter is obsessed with bows and we kept seeing these glitter bows online so I decided to try and make them myself... well I am so in love with them as is my Daughter. I didn't do too well the first few attempts, using a template I got from got from pinterest, but I got there in the end with my own template I made. These were the first bows I made. No photos of 1st attempts but these are the first bows I made that my Daughter could wear. I used this template that I found on Pinterest.   I then made my own template, which I have since chucked away because *excited squeel* for my birthday I got this amazing machine, the sizzix big shot and a bow die by Brenda Martha. It's an amazing craft machine, it cuts paper, card, Glitter fabrics and canvas fabrics, pvc/vinyl fabrics and probably a lot more. It has plates that you put the fabric (or whatever) on then you place the cutter
