My top 10 favourite movies.

Hello there, Fun blog post, 10 movies I absolutely love, we all need a movie under blankets with popcorn and hot chocolate at this time of year, right? with the kiddies or ones just for the grown ups, here is my list of favourites, not in any preference as I could never pick which ones I love the most. 1. Leon  This is one of my all time favourite films, it's about Leon who is a professional assassin, he takes in a young 12yr old girl called Mathilda after her parents were killed, she then becomes his protegee. This movie is action packed as well as having a warm loving feel to it, in a bizarre relationship, bonding with an assassin kinda way, I love it. 2. Pretty woman This movie I could watch so many times (I have, and much, much more) and never be fed up with it, this film just shows you not to judge a book by its cover. It's about a prostitute who is asked to stay with a man while he is living in a Posh Hotel on business and pays her to be his escort, but they just ...

Meeting the SacconeJolys.

Hello there, How are you all doing? hope its been a good weekend for you! We are super excited and wanted to share our excitement with all of you.... My Daughter Isabella and myself are going to meet the Sacconejolys (yay!) at their book signing (not another youtuber with a book out, ha) in WHsmith in Milton Keynes, we were so happy when we saw that they were coming to Milton Keynes as it is only about 45 minutes away from us, we will be travelling by car. Sadly the tickets sold out very quick, although that is good for the SacconeJolys, they did mention that they will be trying to get more tickets, so might be worth keeping an eye out. Photo from Amazon. My Daughter has been watching them since they moved to the UK from Ireland, they are a family who vlog on Youtube daily, plus Anna Saccone has her own Youtube channel, she has been uploading videos since 2008 on beauty and then pregnancy and postnatal videos They also have one for the younger audience ca...

Back to school, update.

Hello there, Just a quick post to say that all went well with my Daughter Georgina's first day (wednesday) at secondary school, She has had a good 3 days there this week. She has been rather tired (not surprised) and a little ratty the closer it got to bedtime but she's come home happy and says she's had a reallt great day and enjoying it.. phew. She has made a few new friends and has been leaving early each morning so she can meet up with her friends, then they all walk together (about a mile walk), I was so worried about how she would settle as it's such a big change from primary school. Do you have children starting big school? If so please let me know in the comments how they got on, I would love to read it, or perhaps they have just started a new school or started reception class, were you nervous and anxious for them? I was a mixed bag of emotions but seeing how happy and settled Georgina is makes me feel so happy for her and I can relax knowing all is good. ...

10 reasons I love Autumn.

Hello there, How are you all doing? I hope everyone is doing well. As Autumn is fast approaching, I thought I would share a list of reasons why I love Autumn, Autumn is my favourite Season, so so many reasons why I am absolutely in love with all that it brings, from crunchy leaves, to the musky smell in the crisp air. Here is my list of reasons. 1:  The colourful strolls through parks and woodland areas, the variety of orange, reds, browns and greens, sunshine sneaking through the trees. Stunning and beautiful. This beautiful stock photo is by George Becker. 2:  Halloween, carving pumpkins with my kiddies, finding costumes for 'Trick or Treating', buying treats and seeing all the kiddies dressed up, Halloween parties, seeing all the houses decorated all spooky and creepy. Baking Halloween treats with my kiddies. My kiddies Pumpkins from last year. My Children all dressed up for Halloween. 3:  The smell of the musky dry leaves in the crisp morni...

Starting big school.

Hello there, how we all doing? Me, I'm feeling a bit of an emotional wreck tbh, few days away from going back to school and my middle Child (Georgina) is going up to Secondary (high) school, which leaves me feeling all the emotions. I thought I'd write a blog post to debunk everything I'm thinking and feeling, I think a lot of Parents can relate. Firstly where on earth have the last 11 years gone? Have I woken up from a very long sleep? I really have no blinking clue as to where the years have gone and frankly I am far too scared to blink incase I jump forward a few more years... wow it really does go so fast huh? it's true what they say about time goes fast when you're having fun! So very proud. Anyway, apart from feeling like I've been in some sort of deep sleep and skipped ahead a few years (felt like this with my Son too, he is now in yr9) I am also feeling very proud of the young woman my Daughter is becoming, she is gaining so much more in confidence...

10 things that made me happy in August.

Hello there, as we are approaching the end of August, I thought I would write a little list of things that made me happy this month. In no particular order. (I could be the Xfactor host... ha-ha) 1. Taking my Daughters to Kidzania, it's a role play city where kids get to experience doing jobs and earning money, it's situated in westfield shopping centre in London, (there is more all over the world) taking them here made me very happy as they have been so excited to visit this place for about a year and watching them having heaps of fun there makes my heart feel all warm and fuzzy. My Daughters at Kidzania. 2. Picnics in the park. We do this a lot when the weather is nice, cheap family days out and we can all let off some energy and also meet up with family & friends. 3. London day out, my Children really wanted to visit the sugglife x PB (#SLxPB) pop up shop in Covent garden, it's YouTubers Zoella (Zoe sugg) ThatcherJoe (Joe sugg) and Pointless blog (Alfie...

London day out with the kids.

Hello there, we took a trip to London. I'm sat here listening to absolute 80's (cruel summer is on right now) so I thought I would take this time out to write a blog post about our day out while listening to some music (love me some 80's tunes) as today is a chilled day at home. Well it was more of a change of plans really, We were meant to be going to LEGOLAND but my Daughters really wanted to go to the Zoella, ThatcherJoe (bro & sis Zoe & Joe sugg, sugglife) and pointless blog aka Alfie Deyes (zoe's boyfriend, they are all youtubers, my girls are obsessed) collab merch pop up shop (in Covent garden) so we changed plans and went to London instead. It opened on Wednesday 23rd August until 3rd September and so Friday 25th Aug was the only day we could get to London as a Family, so off we went. We got up at 6.30am had breakfast, meltdowns over what to wear (incase they saw their idols) finally got out the house an hour later than I had planned (ahhh kids) th...
