Starting big school.

Hello there, how we all doing? Me, I'm feeling a bit of an emotional wreck tbh, few days away from going back to school and my middle Child (Georgina) is going up to Secondary (high) school, which leaves me feeling all the emotions. I thought I'd write a blog post to debunk everything I'm thinking and feeling, I think a lot of Parents can relate. Firstly where on earth have the last 11 years gone? Have I woken up from a very long sleep? I really have no blinking clue as to where the years have gone and frankly I am far too scared to blink incase I jump forward a few more years... wow it really does go so fast huh? it's true what they say about time goes fast when you're having fun! So very proud. Anyway, apart from feeling like I've been in some sort of deep sleep and skipped ahead a few years (felt like this with my Son too, he is now in yr9) I am also feeling very proud of the young woman my Daughter is becoming, she is gaining so much more in confidence...

10 things that made me happy in August.

Hello there, as we are approaching the end of August, I thought I would write a little list of things that made me happy this month. In no particular order. (I could be the Xfactor host... ha-ha) 1. Taking my Daughters to Kidzania, it's a role play city where kids get to experience doing jobs and earning money, it's situated in westfield shopping centre in London, (there is more all over the world) taking them here made me very happy as they have been so excited to visit this place for about a year and watching them having heaps of fun there makes my heart feel all warm and fuzzy. My Daughters at Kidzania. 2. Picnics in the park. We do this a lot when the weather is nice, cheap family days out and we can all let off some energy and also meet up with family & friends. 3. London day out, my Children really wanted to visit the sugglife x PB (#SLxPB) pop up shop in Covent garden, it's YouTubers Zoella (Zoe sugg) ThatcherJoe (Joe sugg) and Pointless blog (Alfie...

London day out with the kids.

Hello there, we took a trip to London. I'm sat here listening to absolute 80's (cruel summer is on right now) so I thought I would take this time out to write a blog post about our day out while listening to some music (love me some 80's tunes) as today is a chilled day at home. Well it was more of a change of plans really, We were meant to be going to LEGOLAND but my Daughters really wanted to go to the Zoella, ThatcherJoe (bro & sis Zoe & Joe sugg, sugglife) and pointless blog aka Alfie Deyes (zoe's boyfriend, they are all youtubers, my girls are obsessed) collab merch pop up shop (in Covent garden) so we changed plans and went to London instead. It opened on Wednesday 23rd August until 3rd September and so Friday 25th Aug was the only day we could get to London as a Family, so off we went. We got up at 6.30am had breakfast, meltdowns over what to wear (incase they saw their idols) finally got out the house an hour later than I had planned (ahhh kids) th...

10 things I can't live without.

Hello there, here is my list of 10 things I can't possibly live without. In no particular order. 1: Pepsi max. I know it's not good for you to drink fizzy drinks but I can't live without it. I try to drink more water too though so not just Pepsi max. 2: Morning coffee, I can live off just 1 cup a day but I can't live without my morning coffee. 3: My phone, I do everything on my phone, watch Netflix, my tv soaps and YouTube, social media, email and even blog with my phone. I am completely lost without it. 4: My ghost deep night perfume, I can wear other perfumes (I have other favourites too) but I have to have a bottle of this, it's my everyday perfume, it's comforting to me as it reminds me of so many amazing times in my life. I have been using it for about 15years. 5: Family time: playing board games, to picnics in the park or family meals out. I can not live without this. Life gets so busy and we all need that special time with our Children. 6...

My highstreet beauty haul.

Hello there, thought I would share my most recent highstreet/drugstore beauty haul with you, and my thoughts on each item. First of all I have the I ❤ make up Golden bar eyeshadow pallete.  Link to golden bar. I fell in love with the packaging on this, not ashamed to say that's what got me to buy it. I am not a huge fan of the colours in the pallete although I do use a few of the colours as you can tell from the photo, but I am trying out new looks so may end up loving some of the ones I don't really like right now.  This pallete is all shimmers, So it's not a pallete you can use as a main pallete, I have other older palletes with mattes in them I use with this. The pigment is really good for such a budget price of £8.99 and I've seen reviews of these palletes on YouTube comparing them to the Too Faced chocolate palletes and they did amazingly next to them, so I feel I have really got a bargain. I can't afford to spend £40+ on eyeshadows when I have...

Our day at Kidzania.

Hello there, we recently had a day out at Kidzania and thought I would write a little bit about our day and how it was. Kidzania is an indoor fun reality learning experience for Children aged 4-14, a place where they can be the adults and be in charge and parents take a backseat for 4 hours. It's situated in Westfield shopping centre in west London although lots of them scattered across the world. They have over 60 activities to explore, a mixture of different professions to test their skills out on. From working in a supermarket to working in a vault, from being a cleaner to working at a radio station, for the news or for a newspaper, being a paramedic, fire fighter or a police officer, to working as a vet to being a midwife looking after babies.  There is so much for them to do. We live in Oxfordshire, it took us 2hours to get to Westfield shopping centre, we booked the car park the night before and got 20% off the ticket, we got the Kidzania tickets from a site called attra...
